WAYPOINT's sauna offers a "heat experience during your journey" that combines nature with a playful spirit.
In spring, you'll be enveloped in the scent of fresh greenery and work up a gentle sweat. In summer, you'll take deep breaths of coolness in the shade of the trees and the lake breeze, then cool down by dipping your feet in water. In autumn, you'll immerse yourself in the deep fresh air while admiring the autumn leaves. In winter, once you're warmed to the core, you'll dive straight into the snow. In this quiet white world, the heat will quickly subside. In this place where the seasons change, we want you to be able to "deeply enjoy" the sauna even during a short stay. We've paid meticulous attention to every detail, from the authentic sauna setup and the cold plunge pool using groundwater to the gimmick of the converted van.
1Overwhelming heat pressure
WAYPOINT's saunas utilize high-output electric heaters to maintain a stable thermal environment. Even in large container saunas that can accommodate up to 12 people, the temperature doesn't drop easily, and the room maintains a consistent heat level. This minimizes the "uneven heat" that often occurs in large spaces, creating an environment where you can sweat thoroughly no matter where you are. The even, powerful heat warms your body from the core.

Here, you can have experiences that are difficult to find in typical sauna facilities.
Cold Head Splash
In the sauna room, splash cold water over your head. Enjoy the refreshing sensation of instantly cooling your overheated head.
Tea Löyly & Waryu
We've prepared a fragrant "tea löyly" on the stove. We've also made "waryu" (water poured on the walls) available. Aromas and steam will envelop your entire body from all sides.
Drinks inside the sauna
No more "I'll go when I'm thirsty." Now it's a luxurious style where you can sweat while enjoying your favorite drink.

3A bathtub-shaped cold bath
WAYPOINT's iconic feature is a specially designed cold plunge pool converted from a vintage van. The bathtub is filled with clear groundwater, which quickly cools you down with natural cold after a sauna. The soft feel of the groundwater on your skin is also a major attraction. It adds a playful, mobile touch reminiscent of van life, allowing you to easily enjoy the cycle leading up to the outdoor relaxation area. In addition, we also offer a deck-embedded cold plunge pool integrated with the outdoor relaxation deck, and a drum-can cold plunge pool where you can stand up and submerge yourself headfirst to cool your entire body in one go.

GUIDELINES
To ensure your peace of mind
At our facility, we continuously check the condition of the sauna and other facilities, provide instructions on usage rules, and take precautions in case of any unforeseen circumstances, as part of our daily operations, to ensure that all our customers can use our facilities with peace of mind.
1.Equipment management
We maintain the sauna facilities and building in the following manner:
- - Regular inspections of sauna stoves by staff and specialists, and cleaning of both electric and wood-fired stoves according to the manufacturer's recommended frequency.
- - Check for any unusual noises, odors, or overheating inside the sauna room.
- - Managing the upper limit of the set temperature and visually checking the thermometer and hygrometer.
- - Door safety (designed to always open from the inside, cannot be locked / can be opened and closed even at high temperatures)
- - Check the condition of the building (check for burns, discoloration, warping, etc.)
- - Compliance with fire compartment and interior finish regulations
2.Operation management
To ensure your safety and enjoyment, we have established usage rules and operating procedures.
- - Clearly state the rules of use (e.g., no prolonged use, no use after drinking alcohol).
- - Warnings regarding the number and amount of self-löyly (sauna steam).
- - Restrictions on bringing personal belongings into the sauna room, and the implementation of rules for managing flammable materials.

3. Daily inspections and records
We conduct inspections as part of our daily operations and keep records of the process.
- - Check the condition before use (check the equipment and room condition)
- - Cleaning and visual inspection after closing hours
- - Storage and record management of inspection and response history, and establishment of a record storage system.
- ・Operations to be taken if an abnormality is detected:1. Service suspended → 2. Inspection → 3. Service resumed after recovery confirmation.
4. Risk assessment and emergency response for fires and other incidents
We have anticipated risks such as fire and have established preparedness measures and response procedures.
Examples of major risks anticipated
- - Abnormal overheating of the sauna stove
- - Stove damage due to excessive löyly (steam).
- - Improper storage of firewood and flammable materials
- - Short circuits and electrical leaks in the electrical system
Preparation and countermeasures
- - Regular inspections by specialists and daily safety checks by on-site staff
- - Installation and regular inspection of fire extinguishing equipment (expiration date, pressure gauge, etc.)
- - Management of flammable materials (restrictions on bringing in personal belongings, ensuring distance between firewood, towels, and equipment)
- - Establishment of an emergency initial response flow (creation of manuals, regular review)
- - Clarify the procedures for calling 119 (emergency number) and contacting staff.
Emergency communication methods
- - Installation of an emergency button (located within reach from the sauna room or changing room)
- Staff are stationed inside the facility during sauna operating hours.
